3 days trip to GOA with crazy gang

Some trips we go to see the places, some trips we go to feel the adventure, some trips we go to relax etc etc....So every trip have some expectations, some plan, some goals in mind...But this was really a great experience for us where we went trip with out any plan...Yes, seriously no plan as such...We have seen GOA just 8 months back, and we have seen almost all places and even same hotel we are staying...So nothing planned as such...And that too with the crazy gang we are going with, planning never works... :)

Here are quick info before I start

  • Started from: Bangalore (12th Dec 2014)
  • Gang: Total crazy gang of 10
  • Number of Days: 2 nights, 3 days
  • Mode of travel: Train between Bangalore to Vasco
We purposeful choose train for 2 reasons...First to enjoy the journey with lots of talks and plays. Second to see Doodh Sagar water falls.
  • Stay: Tivai Beach Cottage @ calangute beach
This is one of the best hotels if you want to enjoy the beech at the max. Charged ~2500 per room per day.
  •  What to wear: Yes for Goa your dress code is very much important... Choose knee level or at least three fourth so that you can walk in beaches comfortably. I think shopping for dresses in Goa itself is best than in Bangalore, cost wise and also you get more varieties. Carry a good sun screen lotion (If not you skin tone will change badly). Again mainly buy a nice hat as soon as you reach there to avoid tanning on your face.

Gang of 10...

Here is Crazy journey starts....

Journey started from Yeshwanthpur railway station. Started around 10:45 pm and is long journey ahead. Did all negotiations with fellow passengers and finally got all berths at one place. Done with dinner and started chitchat...Few slept off by 9 and few by midnight. And few even had second round of snacks at mid night and slept...

Day-1:

All woke up by 8am and done with breakfast. Still we have 5 hours journey. Took few snaps and ate everything sold on train, and played UNO. Time is passing smooth.

Woke up and got ready for breakfast....

Used the blanket as table for UNO....

Around 10 AM we crossed the CASTLE ROCK station. From this station onwards we get lot of tunnels, nice greenery all the way. And also we are just ~30 min away from Doodh Sagar falls. Few Sicked to windows and few at stairs enjoying the scenic view and also eagerly waiting for Falls. Next station was dhoodh sagar and just in 5 min, Finally Dhoodh sagar water falls came... Little disappointed as water was less and it was very magnificent considering the height of falls...Train goes pretty fast and we already ready with our cams and able to capture it...
few big tunnels on the way....Fun shouting in dark

Falls view from train...

Other View. Checkout a small bridge from where our train passed

After falls, had small nap and we finally came to GOA Vasco station on sharp 1pm.

The plan was to take the bikes from this point and use for rest of the journey. But our bad luck, all bikes got over. Then we wanted to try the bus from Vasco to panji and from there bikes... Found the bus stop...But again it was too long queue and very less buses at that time...Again bad luck...It was very hot and we finally decided to take a TT directly to our hotel. Finally got TT for Rs.1600 where all can sit. The hotel is around 45KM distance. Anyway, We finally reached the hotel by 3pm...

Quick Local Tips: I do not suggest bike from Vasco itself as its 45KM from North Goa and you may be already tired of journey. Better pick a Cab on station. You can get bikes from our hotel only. Cab prices are like...Vasco to Panji - 600..Vasco to Calangute beech - 800...For Innova kind of vehicles, price will be double.
All were very hungry.. Skipped the bath (Anyway we were planning to jump in to sea)..Had a quick dress change and settled at shack just in front of our hotel. By the way shacks are nothing but small Hut restaurant just in front of beech. Little heavily priced and food taste is purely your luck on which shack you selected.  Had a long, lazy, relaxed lunch from 3-5pm...All the stress of journey came down and jumped into water and had enjoyed the sea till 7pm. Took few pics of beautiful dusk.

Pleasant Dusk at beeches...

By 6:30 it was dark, we left the beach and took bath...Don't think, the day is over...Still its a start...All got ready and we also got 5 bikes (Each costs 250 per day rent)...

By 9pm, we went to Saturday Night Bazaar which is a famous night bazaar and open only on Saturday. There were so many stalls with different items... There is nothing interesting to buy for us but its a huge and nice crowd (Colorful also...U know what I mean ;)). You can surly enjoy a good time just roaming around there...walked for some time and got settled down at some place and few started enjoying the drinks, few enjoying the crowd, and few enjoying the Music, and me enjoying the photography...

    Quick Local Tips:
     - You can bargain by at least by 30-40% in this Saturday market.
     - On the way to this market, you get another Saturday market and don't get misguided.

Pretty dolls

Spent till 11pm and started back to Baga beach. The plan was to get in to the Titto's club and enjoy rest of the night. This Titto club is one of the famous clubs on entire Goa and its right near the Baga beech. Some how we changed the plan and with lot of discussions and finally settled in one of the shacks in Baga beach.....It was a cool breeze, Sound of waves, some disco music...

Relaxing at Baga...
View of Shacks on Baga Beach...Almost entire night there will be full crowd...

A small boy was doing few tricks with fire and it was awesome to watch. It was a great fund to take few pics of him...Just relaxed and had long dinner and hand over with lots of chat till 2am...

Boy playing with fire

It was so lovely to watch...And I enjoyed taking pics...

Finally drove back to Hotel and slept off....

Day-:2

I had plan of early morning beech photography. But after sleeping so late, all woke up 10 am... Started feeling so hungry...Got ready soon and had a nice breakfast (actually brunch) on Sri Krishna Udupi hotel. This one was very near to our hotel. Pricing is very high where a dosa cost Rs.100... Of-course entire Goa, food is little costly everywhere...

Done with breakfast by 12pm and went to Calangute beach. This is the place where you can see all water sports and huge Indian crowds...You hardly see foreigners here. Many of them jumped to water and started enjoying all water sports and few went to Anjuna beech.  As we already enjoyed them in our last trip, myself and Vandana just settled on a shack. It was a awesome moment where we just relaxed with out actually doing anything... I got the head message (Rs.150) and Vandana got a foot massage(Rs.100). They ask for more than 500 bucks but you need to do real bargain. Few got temporary tattoos (Costs ~200)....Had lots of jucies, cokes and all small eateries that pass by.

Enjoying the massage

Finally all done with their water sports and back to shack. Shared their great experience. It was already 3pm and all are back. Started ordering the food. Ate till 4pm. Then left to Hotel. On the way again had snacks in Udupi hotel...Spent a nice evening in the beech in front of our hotel. All got in to water till 7:00 pm. Sat on the sand near the beach making some sand castles, yoga and having fun:)

Local Tips:
Do not go with any touts for water sports...There is counter and all prices are written on board and they are final. Just go directly and buy tickets. When you buy ticket for parasailing, some how they charge you extra 150 again to take you in boat to parasailing boat. Again they charge 150 if you want to have a dip in water while doing parasailing. Timing wise, all activities are hardly 5 mins.

By 8pm, got ready for night party. Yes we were planning for Titto's now. Went to Baga Beach and actually there are many pubs. With lots of discussions and research we finalized Hype Pub. They charged 1000 per stag and couple entry is free... In many of these pubs, couple entry is free and just charged on what ever they drink/eat. And all ladies gets a free drinks till midnight 12...But Stags (With out Pair) have to pay an entry fee. So we finally paid ~6000 for 10 people and entered the pub. They gave card of 6000 which we can spend rest of the night. This pub had a small but nice dance floor also.Crowd was less but we enjoyed at the max.

Had some snacks, few enjoyed nice drinks and few like me with cokes...Danced for some time...By 1am, we got out of the pub and settled at baga beech shacks as we did last night.

Had a relaxed food, snacks and few one more round of drinks. We spent nice time till 3am there. And finally drove back to hotel and again spent some time in chit chat till 5am. Some how we never felt sleepy or tired...Like a mandatory things, we just went in to room and slept off...Quickly went in to deep sleep....

 Day-3:

Ummm, with so much fun packed days, we finally reached last day of our trip. Again woke up lazily and had 11am breakfast in same Sri Krishna hotel. We are supposed to check out now. But we kept one room to hold all our bags and gave other rooms. All bags packed and placed in one room...We started our drive to Agoda fort...Had few glasses of cocum soda (Its a must try) and went into fort...There is nothing much to see but nice place for few pics...Had lots of pics here and again had few glasses of cocum soda (Yes it was very yummy).

Quick tips: Agoda fort timings are 10am to 5pm. you do not get any food there. There is a watch tower and they allow you to climb till top with some fee...You can try it...

Now Few people were interested to go Anjuna beech and few wanted to see Old Goa. four of us including me started driving to Old Goa...Its a beautiful drive of ~20 KM. Reached there by 2pm...There are few great churches built on 16'th Century by Portuguese. This was their capital and this was the place where early churches built for the first time in India. In Basilica of Bom Jesus Church you can find a body of  Francis Xavier that was kept from 1552. Still the body have not decomposed and people say the nails grow till today. Generally this body will be little far away in regular days but they bring this down every 10 years once so all can see. We got that chance. It was very long queue but moving fast and in 15 mins we saw the body. This place was hugely crowded as it was festive season, lot of prayers were going on. In Old Goa, You can still see people talk Portuguese and their culture... Enjoyed the churches...It was too hot...

Started our return journey by 4pm and reached by 5pm in hotel. Had a little food and went to hotel. Picked up all bags and its time to say good bye....Booked 2 Xylos (each took Rs.1300 to drop to Vasco railway station) and reached the station by 8pm. Packed some idly, dosas and boarded the train. Everybody are so tired and jumped to sleep so soon....

  Reached the Bangalore by 11:30am.

See you all soon with  an another trip....

Day in Jhari resort, Chikkamagaluru

Close your eyes...Just imagine...Deep in forest...No mobile...No crowd...no pollution...no noise...All you see is green, thick forest, a big water fall just in front of your cottage. All you hear is songs of birds, sound of water falling from heaven...Very nice imagination right...But..But.. it came to reality with this trip...Not kidding...Check out below for my journey to this little heaven...

From my childhood, I love water...and water fall is the best way to enjoy water...Have seen many water falls and had a great joy. But this is the first time I enjoyed the falls to fullest of my heart.

Here are quick info before I start...

    Started from: Bangalore ( April 6th 2014)
Places: Original plan was to Cover Chikkamagaluru and its surroundings like Mullayangiri, Baba Bundangiri, Kemmangundi.. Check Story to see what it ended up.
    Total distance: ~700KM
Gang: Gang of Crazy (Sorry Madly Crazy) 11 people. 9 from my Wife's Team and 2 including me joined them.
Number of Days: Just 2days, 1 night (We can spend even years there...)
Mode of Travel: Took TempoTraverler (12 Seater) ( Ho Yaa it was White Color One ... The Trip Gang will understand this)
Stay: Jhari resort.... Truly Heaven...Check more about it in Story.

Before Going to Story, All the credits of the pics go to few folks (Mukunda,Shreyas,Suraj) Who saved those great moments.

Story begins....

One day my Wife spoke to me about the trip they are planning to Chikkamagaluru and asked me to join (Ummmm So sweet of her right). Said OK right away as I am always on my toes for any trip. Finally decided the place as Chikkamagulru and near by places and finalized the resort as Jhari. Actually it is not right time to visit this place and it will be bit hot and dry...Best time is in Aug to Jan to enjoy pitch green place...So we were prepared in mind that it will not be that great scenic...Planned all pick-up points to pick full gang for wonderful trip.

Started from our house as first place at sharp 3:45am. Then the last Pickup ended in Shiva's house and Finally started actual at 6:30am. Journey started with nice music and we hit our first stop at 8:00am...Swathi delicacy (Near Kunigal)..for breakfast. Already many people gave a good comments on this and especially Vivek told that Vada will be good there....Everybody were hungry and had a nice, tummy full breakfast.

Reached Chikkamagaluru around 12:00pm,and from there we need to go Kymara stop and from there we need to take the road goes to giri resort. At Kymara we took small coconut break and continued. On the way we saw the board of the resort and called those people...

Now Coming to resort part, It is very remote and need to go little deep in jungle. We cannot go in our vehicle as the road is very steep and narrow. We sent our TT to their parking place in other resort they have and the Resort vehicle picked us up. It was a open jeep and we all were standing. The ride was adventures... Atleast 10 hairpin curves and each time he took a U, our heart slipped a little. It was scary as the road is very very narrow and steep. Hardly less than 1 ft left from the tyre... Finally holding our breath we reached the resort which is 2 KM away inside the Jungle by 1pm. And there is a big water fall just in front of resort which is the most interesting part.

With the first look itself, we were very much impressed by the location. Got down and they showed us our tents. Resort offers rooms, Cottage and tents and we have chosen the Tents during booking. At a first look of tent we were little disappointed as it was very hot, we cannot sit inside the tent, atleast did't feel comfortable placing our things inside tent. But the tent was really big enough to accommodate atleast 3 people and very clean with a nice bed. Selected our tents randomly and each tent occupied by 2 people...

It was already lunch time, so we first had lunch. Lunch  was very bad with no salt, no spice...Then entered the water Falls...which as awesome...Almost spent 2 hours in water falls.

Had tea, little snacks at 5:00pm and then started UNO game...Few were playing Carroms and few were busy in photography also. It was really fun playing UNO with such a big gang....Each game used to takes atleast 30 min to end. So soon it was 7. IT was dark and dinner will be served by 9. So we went for little night trek... Yaa it was forest and night and we can call our small walk as night trek. Back from trek, started fire camp. Started with few rounds...Yaa...Some had softdrinks and some had...No need to mention...Started music ...Also danced a lot.

It was great time...middle in forest, sound of falls, With favourite music, Cool Breeze, little warm from fire...Wow right??? Took little break and went for dinner. After dinner joined back to fire camp. This fire camp was just for our gang.... It was already 11:30pm....Then go to sleep...wait a sec....NO NO NO...do you know what we did next...? The craziest thing we never did in our life.... Get in to water fall ....Doesn't it sound crazy to be in falls in midnight??... Initially Vivek and Suraj jumped in...Later I collected all my strength and joined them... Water was pitch cold and it was mid night...OfCource the resort folks have put the lights and it was fully safe....Spent in water for about 20mins and came back to tent. And few little more crazy folks still continued to enjoy...

Hardly in seconds...body went in to full sleep mode....

Day-2:

We woke up early 6:30am...You know what...our alarm was the birds sound...I heard a bird sound which was exactly some kind of whistle...And sooo smooth with a nice rhythm....By that time I already saw few folks up and busy in photography, in Yoga , chit chats...

The resort folks encouraged us to take a little trek. We refreshed our body and started the trek. Now as part of this trek they took us to two falls which are the continuation of the one where we are staying.... Trek was also not that easy but required little effort in bending our body which is new to our body. Yaaa we all spend more time in sitting in AC room in same posture digging in to the bugs where only our fingers move... Finally reached the first one and and continued for second one.

After reaching second one, we took little break sitting there enjoying the view of fall...Took few photos...With a small break we started back...Now on the way back we stopped and went near to the first fall. It was also an amazing one...Spent almost an hour in this fall...Took so many pics....and back to resort....

Our tummy was already signalling us...Yaa,  we were really hungry and breakfast is not yet ready...ho no...With in little wait we got the food. Food was sooooo tasty....everybody enjoyed it...After a bad experience of last day's food we were finally happy with food. What's next after breakfast....? Again went into water fall...Again enjoyed the same way as we were seeing the fall first time...After about 2 hours of fun... came back to tent and had a nice hot water bath and time to packup... Packed everything and waiting for jeep again to drop us to the main road.

Finally Jeep came and our soles filled with joy and little sorry of missing the place...Anyway...its not last and we will surly come back to this place....

Trip to Goa...Paradise of beaches....

Started with 7 Steps...So fast Completed 7 years...
Loved this journey and all this is just a beginning ....

By reading this you would have understood it was our Marriage Anniversary and we choose Goa this time to celebrate it.

Here are quick info:

  • Places: Only North Goa
  • Number of Days: 3
  • Mode of Travel: Took Seabird sleeper to travel to Goa and back in SRS sleeper couch
  • Travel in the Goa: Rented a BikeBike is the best thing you should never miss to explore the goa in a great way. More tips on Bike rental in blog.
  • Place of stay: Tivai Beech Cottages which is exactly facing the Calangute beach. (AC room - 2500 per day)
  • Dress: Yes for Goa your dress code is very much important... Choose knee level or at least three fourth so that you can walk in beaches comfortably. I think shopping for dresses in Goa itself is best than in Bangalore, cost wise and also you get more varieties.
  • Maps: As we have to go everywhere by our self...We used the maps in our Phone...Thanks to GPS and offline maps in Nokia...
Story begins....

It was long time plan to see GOA with big gang...But everybody are busy in some or other way and not able to gather all for 3 days....Hence finally decided GOA to celebrate AnniversaryChoose the bus (For train you need to book very well in advance) to travel and wanted to avoid car drive as we were not planning to visit anything other than Goa. If you want to cover all places on the way to Goa then car is best.

Day-1:

Started our journey at 10pm (bus was 1 hour late) and reached 10am at Panjim Bus stop. As soon as we get down, we rented a bike which is around Rs.300 per day. Weekend prices will be little more. No need to search for the one. As soon as you drop from bus, many guys will come and offer you the Bike. Bike is the best way to explore the city. Extra Rs.200 petrol is more than enough to cover all. We planned only North Goa this time. North Goa is full of life and fun...South Goa is very peaceful and less noise. Its all people taste to select. If you have more days then better cover both the north and south. Coming back to Bike rental, make sure you bargain well and check the vehicle condition and then rent it. Also take few pics of it so that he cannot cheat you later for any old damages of bike. We preferred Honda Activa as we get good space in front to keep all language. Then from Panjim, its about 12 KM to Cottage. Tivai Cottage is just in front of calangute beach. Beach is hardly 20 steps away. This is the best place to stay to enjoy the beach at max.

Took some rest and got freshup and went to beach by 12. Its actually 4 beaches (Sinquerim beach, candolim beach, calanguta beach, Baga Beach) come side by side in the stretch of 4 KMs (Check out google maps).. And there is no difference between them...Its all the same. Had an hour walk on beach side and took boat ride to see Dolphins (Rs.350 charged per person). They take us some distance in the sea to the place where there are 2-4 Dolphins. We need to patiently watch and wait for them to come up. After 20 mins of wait, we spotted 2 and that to they just came little out of water and vanished. But the ride was good than watching Dolphins. Returned back to beach and had a lunch in one of the Shacks. Shacks are nothing but a small hut style hotels in beach where they serve everything. Things are overly priced but food will be good and you can enjoy the beach view and have food. After lunch we walked towards Baga beach which comes in the same stretch of beach after 2KM walk. In that beach we saw so many water sports activities. We opted of Paragliding. They Charge 650 per head - 600 is their charge and 50 is to take you to near boat where you do Paragliding. This is very very costly as hardly you will be in air for less than a 30-40sec. They Charge Rs.200 Extra again to make a small drop to water and again lift you back to top. But it was great experience...
You can try out other water sports like Water Bike, banana ride, speed boat based on your patience/budget.

We were very much tired by this time. Went back to hotel and had a bath to remove all sand and salt on our body. Came back to beach again and settled on one of the shaft and had snacks and enjoyed the sun set. It became bit cold and started feeling nice cool breeze as sun set. Went back to room and done for the day.

Now if you are party guy then never ever miss Tito's Night club where there will be a party every day. And it goes till early morning. There is even club cabana which will a great place enjoy the night life...They all charge around 2000 per couple. By the way in Panjim there are few boats which take you to the middle of sea and have party at night. Make sure you book well in advance and be there by 5-6pm. Also all of these are very safe and you can travel whole night with out any issue... Never heard even single issue for travelers. By the way we didn't try them..

  Day-2:

Woke up early in the morning 7pm and came to beach and enjoyed a nice climate and hardly few people around. Spent some time and took snaps. That's the best advantage of taking hotel on beach where you can jump in to the beach anytime. Got fresh up and started our Journey to Anjuna Beach by 8pm. Had breakfast in Krishna Udupi vihar. Ate heavily priced idly (Rs.55) and Dosa (Rs.80) with poor taste. The bike ride to Aunjuna is again was really good. You pass through small villages. On shores of Anjuna beach you can see Anjuna Flea market place but its only on Wednesday and we missed it. But we heard that there is nothing special you get there. Reached Anjuna beach by 10am and again its the same beach what saw in Calangute...But there were few coral rocks where we took some snaps...myself again jumped in to the water but Vandana stayed on Shack to watch me. After a few mins of fun, I also joined Vandana on Shack and where we spent almost 2 hours in listening the songs from our ipod and enjoying the beach view with cool breeze and drinking liters of coke together :).

Got out of beach by 1pm and back to Calangute..Had Lunch on the way...Now the question is...what to do next? Then we found a small amusement park with some water games... Spent there till 4 have fun in sweet water (yaa fed of salt water)....And back to room by 5pm.

Left room by 5:30pm to Agonda Fort. Reached there by 6pm but it got closed by 5 itself. But it was a nice drive and a nice place to be during evening. You get a great view. There is a light house and with Rs.40 per head and they allow you to go top of light house...Again spent there with breath taking views for till 7pm. Back to room and done for the day....

   Day-3:

Today our first plan was to for Agonda fort as it was closed yesterday. So started early and was there by 8am. It was really a cool place and the way to this place is awesome... You will surly enjoy the drive...Took lot of pics and then spent an hour resting in fort by listing songs...Then there is a central jail very near to this fort. Make sure you never miss that. They will not allow in side the jail...Just in front of jail, to the left there is a small path down to sea...We got down there and there are few rocks...It was amazing hidden place. Took lots of pics... Back to room and we checked out of it by 11 as we took for 2 days only.

We are done with Beaches and our next plan is to see Panjim city and Old Goa.

Started by 11 from room and reached Panjim bus station by 11:30. Kept all our luggage in clock room. It's not official bus-stand clock room, but maintained by some shop...Just ask some body in bus stand. Reached old Goa by 12:30. There are few great churches built on 16'th Century by Portuguese. This was their capital and this was the place where early churches built for the first time in India. In Basilica of Bom Jesus Church you can find a body of  Francis Xavie that was kept from 1552. Still the body have not decomposed and people say the nails grow till today. You can still see people talk Portuguese and their culture... Enjoyed the churches...It was too hot...Left old Goa by 2pm and reached Panjim bus station where we had our lunch in Kamat.

After Lunch, our next stops to cover some pending beaches on Panjim... We were already bored of beaches but nothing left to do...Went to Dona Paula beach and spent there till 4pm. There is nothing much to do here..But a nice city and beach views...

Finally done for the day and trip...Came back to bus stand by 5pm and called bike rental person. He came near the bus and picked up his bike. Finally we jumped in to our bus and slept... Back to Bangalore...Back to normal day to day life....But with a great memories .....

Hope you all enjoyed it...Back soon with nice trip...and a nice blog...

Experienced a real happiness at Don bosco Yuvakara grama

Have you ever thought what gives you real happiness?.... I think the right answer will be "seeing happiness in others and that too when you know you are a reason behind it".... Yes the same i felt this day when we visited this Don Bosco child rehabilitation center at Ajjanahalli.

"I would like to thank Honeywell team who allowed me to be part of this and all credits of Pics goes to Suraj Prakash..."

At my wife's office, her team took this initiative in collecting money and buying few goods to donate to the Don Basco yuvakara grama. My wife asked me to join and I was also happy to be part of that. They almost collected 24K where 8K is planned for a day lunch and rest for buying some essential daily goods. They contacted Father in that center and tried to understand what exactly they wanted.  We all went to Metro and bought all things to match up the contributions we collected. Also ordered cakes for children.

What is this  Don Basco child rehabilitation center?
let me add few words which I understood from them. There are about 120 children of different age groups between 7-16 years. Parents of few kids were not able to afford the food and education, Few parents died, few parents even suicide, few parents went to jail, for few no father and mother herself trying hard to lead daily life.....So many sad stories... Each kid have a unique problem...Your eye will dry out of tears talking to just few kids....What ever the story you hear...the only thing you see is a big smile from those innocent faces.Once they get a kid they give him special classes and put him to the class which he suites well... I heard that no one failed in 10th Exam here...Very great...

And journey to meet these smiles went like this....

We started around 8:00am and had breakfast on mysore road and we reached this center at around 10am. As soon as we reached, kids with Father were ready to greet us. They welcomed with great welcome song. We saw one small boy was crying...Instantly everybody around him started consoling him with great love...How many of us really have those many people around us to take a share of our tears...Very less....

All kids welcoming us...

After that we started distributing cakes.... Each one came in a line and took their cake and started eating little by little... Enjoying every bite of it....And we eat in front of TV's or chatting on unwanted things and don't know what even we are eating and how much....

Posing with their Cakes

Smiles...When was the last time we gave a pose like this?

Then Father told the kids to help us in trekking the small hill side by.  All kids jumped and ran and came to us to reserve our hands...Yes they were very very happy to hold our hands...They were so happy when i just placed my hand on their shoulders...They held my hand tightly so that i will not take out from their shoulders.

It was a nice trekking experience. Even though it was bit hot...we enjoyed every part of it... With in 20 min we reached top of hill and then spent good amount of time in playing anthakshari... Kids were very enjoying singing and we were enjoying seeing them...After some time...we came back down ....

This boy hold my hand for very long time..

View of this center from top of the hill..

Then they took us to small rock garden which was created by these kids only..We spent some time there again...And we were all very hungry...

At Rock garden...Showed them that I can also climb...

:) Each one trying to put horn for other...

At 2pm we went to lunch hall where all kids were already sat waiting for the food. We sat with them and had a nice lunch. They get egg 2 times a week, daily milk, once in a day curd and usual 3 times food. We told Father to add chicken and ice cream as part of the menu. Everybody ate enitre food and kept all their chicken pieces aside. At the end of lunch they started eating one by one again enjoying every bit of it. The same happened with ice cream... I saw one kid was done with his lunch leaving some rice in his plate...When  he declared that he is done...all kids side by him shared that rice with out wasting even single grain... Wow that shows a true respect to food... They can get fresh rice but they preferred of not wasting the food...

Mess hall where they enjoy food...

This was interesting part...We asked them to smile for pics by asking them to say "Cheeeeees"...You know what they say..."Cheese is from italy....and as we are indians... let us say  Chapathiiiiiiii"...So nice one naaa....

After food we played volley ball, basket ball, foot ball and spent some time with few kids and Father understanding more on how they work....

Playing Volley Ball

Foot ball..This is their favorite...

They arranged a small show for us where they showed few dances, sang few songs, had a small comedy drama...

Finally around 4pm we started back to Bangalore ending a nice day....Those smiles will always be remembered....

NOW tell me....who donated the real happiness...It was them....Not us...

Doesn't it make you feel that you should also have a day like this... Then stop thinking and try the same in your apartments, teams, work places, friends group, relatives.......If you can't gather many people...Then even going alone is most welcomed... Just go there and enjoy the day and come....
